SS is just like the Saeco Classico in black, but it features at stainless
steel body throughout. The Saeco Classico SS espresso machine represents a
lot of technological advancements by Saeco, and in many ways is a flagship
machine of sorts for the company in the consumer espresso product range.
The entire body of the machine is made is made of steel, and it looks
great sitting on your kitchen counter. The size of the machine is small,
but it still manages to squeeze in a sizable boiler and an 80-ounce water
reservoir, showing an efficient and intelligent design.
At the heart of the Saeco Classico are the stainless steel boiler and
pressurized portafilter system patented by Saeco. The boiler provides
great durability and performance for pulling shot after shot. The
pressurized portafilter ensures great crema and excellent espresso making,
regardless of the operator's skill level. The high efficiency heating
element provides more than enough steam for perfect lattes, cappuccinos,
and mochas. The froth-aider tip makes obtaining perfect foam virtually
effortless.

Simple
to Use Brewing Features
Like all semiautomatic espresso machines, the Classico features a simple
semi-automatic coffee brew control button. To start the flow of coffee
just push the coffee brew switch and then turn the switch off to stop
brewing when the desired amount of espresso has been dispensed. Controls
are well laid out and easy to use. The control panel features heavy-duty
rocker-type switches.

Perfect
Foam, No Fuss
The Classico produces an abundance of dry steam and thanks to Saeco’s
patented Pannarello froth-aider tip, you will froth milk for cappuccinos
or lattes just like the pros. Just activate the steam system, and then
turn on the steam wand. The wand is made of stainless steel and the shape
makes cleaning a snap. The steam wand swivels to accommodate a 12 or 20
oz. milk-frothing pitcher.

Perfect Espresso
Portafilter
The Classico uses a pressurized portafilter that eliminates the need to
master the grinding and tamping of your coffee grounds, something that if
not done properly can ruin your espresso shots on some other machines. The
patented portafilter ensures a good extraction of espresso by pressurizing
the brewing chamber, creating the perfect espresso brewing elements. |

Espresso
Pod Adapter
With the included espresso pod adapter, you can use single serving
pre-packaged espresso pods. The pods are inserted in place of coffee
grounds. There is NO coffee grinding and no mess. Just convenient and
great tasting espresso! When you are finished brewing the espresso, simply

Large
Removable Water Reservoir
The 80 ounce reservoir lets you brew a large quantity of drinks before
needing a refill, which makes the Classico ideal for entertaining without
worry. You can refill the reservoir in place while the machine is
operating, or remove it to fill at the sink if you like.

Cup Warming Area
On top of the Classico, there is a polished stainless steel cup-stacking
surface that is heated. If you're serious about being a skilled home Barista,
you will know that having warmed cups is a prerequisite to perfect
espresso. |
Removable Drip & Cup
Tray
Made of polished stainless steel, the Classico's cup tray adds a polished,
finishing touch to a great looking machine. The plastic drip pan below the
cup tray is also removable for easy disposal of excess water. |
High Performance
Boiler
The Classico features an efficient and sizable stainless steel boiler that
makes the production of espresso drinks easy. The quick recovery time of
the boiler ensures rapid turnaround, allowing you to brew espresso shot
after espresso shot with little or no waiting time. |
Powerful Pump System
The 15 BAR vibratory pump provides more than enough pressure to make
excellent espresso topped with thick crema. The Classico uses the same
pump found in much more expensive espresso machines, which ensures
longevity and also high volume use for the home or small office. |

Safety System
The boiler heating element
features a thermal fuse that provides burnout protection if the boiler is
operated dry or runs out of water. |
