The
Saeco Via Veneto espresso and cappuccino machine is Saeco's entry level
pump driven model. It offers the same brewing power as the more expensive
models and froths milk beautifully. The espresso is excellent and is
topped with great crema! It has a special pressurized brew filter that
helps make great espresso without having to get the coffee grounds just
right or requiring you to be an expert at "tamping" the espresso
grounds. The Via Veneto can also use single serving espresso pods with is
special espresso pod adapter!
"Budget"
and "Italian Built" in the same sentence? It's true with
the Saeco Via Veneto espresso machine. It may be one of the cheapest true
Italian espresso machines on the market, but a look inside and at the
features says anything but cheap; in fact, it features many of the same
components inside and out that are found on espresso machines costing
hundreds more. With it's powerful pump, quality components and build, the
Via Veneto is a great starter machine for anyone serious about good
espresso in the home.

Easy
Brewing Controls
Like all semi automatic espresso machines, the Via Veneto features a
simple, manual control switch to start and stop the brewing process. The
machine even produces hot water on demand - simply activate the pump, open
the steam knob, and boiler water is redirected through the steam pipe.
|
Espresso Pod
Adapter
With the included espresso pod adapter, you can use single serving
pre-packaged espresso pods. The pods are inserted in place of coffee
grounds. There is NO coffee grinding and no mess. Just convenient and
great tasting espresso! When you are finished brewing the espresso, simply
remove and discard the espresso pod. Click on our Guide to Making Perfect
Espresso to learn more about espresso pods.

Milk Froth-Aider
Tip
The Via Veneto features a Pannarello frothing tip that helps produce loads
of foam, even when used by beginners or people who have no skill at
foaming milk - every time you get rich, thick foam with Saeco's patented
device.
The wand is made of
stainless steel and the shape makes cleaning a snap. It offers a super
steam endurance and fast recovery time. The steam wand swivels to
accommodate a 12 or 20 oz. milk-frothing pitcher. |
Large Removable
Water Reservoir
The 56 ounce reservoir allows for a large amount of drinks to be prepared
before refilling. The remaining volume is easily seen from the front of
the machine and it can be refilled in place, or removed for refilling at
the sink.
|
Removable Cup
Tray and Drip Pan
These components are
removable from the front of the machine. It’s made of durable plastic
and cleans easily in the kitchen sink with water and mild detergent.
The bottom of the machine is equipped with a swivel base that allows you
to turn the entire unit for easy access to the sides and back. This makes
cleaning and service easier.

Ample Sized
Boiler
The Via Veneto
features a boiler that's almost as big as the ones found on machines
costing $300 more. Made of stainless steel, it holds slightly less than
100ml, and gives you the added benefit of ample steam production and
temperature stability that you don't always get from lower cost espresso
machines. |
Powerful Pump System
The 15BAR Ulka pump
provides more than enough pressure to make excellent espresso every time.
The Via Veneto uses the same type of pump found in machines costing
hundreds more. |
Safety System
The boiler heating
element features a thermal fuse that provides burnout protection if the
boiler is operated dry or runs out of water. |
Accessories
Two stainless steel filter baskets for making either single or double
shots of espresso, espresso pod adapter, measuring spoon, 2 cups and
saucers, samples of regular and decaffeinated espresso pods, coffee guide,
and instruction manual. |
